I totally understand! My favorite authors change over time and by genre too!
I like Colleen Hoover. She has a way of putting a jaw-dropping twist in a story that always leaves me stunned.
How can I possible choose even 10 favorites?!? I have a variety of interests
so love a variety of authors.
When an author has the ability to make the characters and scenes feel real,
has the skills to cause the reader to feel the characters feeling and
reactions, then that becomes a favorite author. Also, in non-fiction,
an author that does not drag it out with excessive facts and figures, but
presents their information in an interesting manner.
I enjoy stories about other countries. Gives me a peek into their world as I do not know if I will ever travel there.
I like Maeve Bimchy because I love her stories of Ireland.
me too, I love following their lives and what the author comes up with!
I like reading books in a series and I like the characters in Dorothy Howell and Janet Evanovich’s books!
I love her books too! crack me up every time.
I really love reading Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series, about an inept bounty hunter.
It’s a really great series & I have almost all of her books in hardcover so I can reread them over and over.
Can’t go wrong with the classics!
Jane Austen- the stories
She has written some great books!
I love so many authors it’s difficult to choose just one. I guess I’ll have to say Danielle Steel since I have almost all her books.
I haven’t heard of this author, going to have to look her up!
I was able to hear her speak last year at a tea I attended. She is nice in person too!
Currently, Jill Shalvis is one of my favorite authors, since her books are filled
with humor, animals, and romance!
Morgan Matson is my favorite! She tells such relatable, unique stories.
I remember reading her books…they were good!
Ooh…that’s a tough one. One of my favorite authors was Janet Dailey. She really knew how to develop complex characters and how to infuse her stories with excitement and emotion.
sounds interesting, will have to look up that series.
My favorite author right now is Christine Feehan. She has a series called the Dark series which I’ve been reading for 15 years and now a new series and the next book Shadow Reaper comes out on the 30th.
I’ve enjoyed many of his books too! So many good authors not enough time to read
Dean Koontz has been my favorite author for a long time. I would like to ask him how he comes up with some of the ideas for his books. So many of them, if you think of it and maybe outside the box a little bit, could come true.
I have never heard of that author, I will have to check him out.
My favorite author is Augusten Burroughs. I think that he’s brilliant, perceptive, and witty, with just the right amount of gentle snark. 🙂
She is one of my favorite authors too! I laugh out loud at many of her books and the situations the characters get in to every day.
My favorite author is Janet Evanovich, and I love all of the crazy characters that she comes up with.
