BCB: The Secret Life of Copernicus H. Stringfellow by Lorin Barber @lorinbarber
I decided to start a new monthly feature on my blog called BCB which is short for Book Club Book. I have a great group of friends that gather once a month and discuss books from the serious to the light-hearted. j
For November, we read The Secret Life of Copernicus H. Stringfellow: Surreptitious Superhero by author Lorin Barber.
Synopsis
Copernicus H. Stringfellow, a.k.a. Nick, is not your run-of-the-mill genius. His mind is so powerful it can stop a speeding automobile or stem internal bleeding. As Nick goes about quietly doing good, he discovers that his powers are greatly enhanced by the nutrients present in Twinkies. Follow Nick on his amazing adventures in this humorous and exciting action-packed book for all ages.
Review
I LOVED this book! No it is not realistic but who said books always have to be that way to be enjoyed? Not me, that’s for sure! I like how Nick is so smart but wants to stay under the radar. This book has a little bit of everything: love, danger, secrecy and human kindness. Actually if everyone in the world acted like Nick it would be a much better place.
Next time you are looking for a fun read, pick this one up, you’ll be glad you did! We liked it so much we are giving it 5 paws
