Series: Lucie Rizzo Mysteries
Authors: Adrienne Giordano
Release Date: February 9, 2016
Publisher: SilverHart Publishing
Genre: Mystery
Synopsis
Catering to the pampered paws set took Lucie Rizzo from unemployed to entrepreneur. With her dog walking/chic pet accessory business on the verge of success, Lucie’s ready to make a name for herself. One not tarnished by her dad’s mobster rep.
When an art deal she brokered between clients turns suspicious, it’s up to Lucie to sniff out the truth. She might not know the difference between Monet and Manet, but Rizzos are no strangers to jail time—and Lucie refuses to be someone’s prison bitch.
Unless that someone is a tall, blond and Irish cop. Detective Tim O’Brien certainly knows how to get Lucie hot under the rhinestone collar. And with her on-again-off-again relationship with Frankie Falcone currently off, O’Brien isn’t shy about making her feel wanted, mafia ties and all. Even joining her crack—or crackpot—team on the trail of two paintings with equally shady origins.

Review
I enjoyed the first book in this series but I loved this one! I’m not sure why – maybe it is the interactions between Lucie & Tim (so funny!) or the humping actions of Oscar (the dog), or the talk about a painting called Position Seven which represented early European Erotic art…and of course the men in the book had to check it out on the website many times!
This book just made me laugh throughout and I like that the “case” to be solved isn’t a murder. I was shocked by how it ended (who was involved) but it was an interesting twist.
This is a great series and I can’t wait to see what happens next with Lucie, Tim, Frankie, Ro and Joey! We give this book 5 paws up!

We have three dogs and three cats. Our house is very full to say the least! When I sing in the shower, we have one dog who will sing outside the bathroom door with me. It always cracks us up/ We have a terrible cat who like to sit on top of bookcases and jump down on people. It scares the pants off people. One of our dogs like to sleep with one of our cats and it is pretty cute.

My dog loves going swimming in our pool.

My Jack Russell Terrier is a very interesting dog. What cracks people up when they visit is the fact that she wants someone to go in the backyard to play with her, but she just runs around by herself with her squeaky toys and won’t pay attention to anyone until you try to leave to go back inside and then she hits your heels with her toy.

Where do I start? We have 2 very quirky dogs. Our male dog I swear can tell time. He lets us know if we’re even a few minutes late of their normal feeding time. And our female dog sits and looks at herself in a full length mirror for hours.

My dog is obsessed with a squeaky chicken toy, will carry it all around the house and give it to visitors to look at.
