Synopsis
While on vacation in South Carolina, Tj Jensen receives a call that her father has been left in a coma after a devastating car crash. Back home in Paradise Lake, Tj learns the accident that killed family friend Judge Harper and left her father clinging to life wasn’t an accident at all—someone cut their brake lines. To make matters worse, her friend and police contact, Deputy Roy Fisher, is working with a new partner who has no intention of letting Tj anywhere near the case. Facing an investigation more explosive than the annual fireworks show, Tj enlists the help of her best friends to unravel the mystery, all the while navigating a new romance and the thought her father may never wake up.

I enjoy fireworks that are put on by professionals. Not a fan of the the ones that people set off at home.

I love discovering new mystery series, I love to zip right through them. This series sounds great!

I do love a good cozy mystery, is there any better type of book to read in the fall/winter. Sounds like a good book I would enjoy. Nice title too.
Pat Pinkston
Love to watch them, but on television. Sitting outside at night makes me a smorgasbord for the mosquitoes.
Donna Durnell
I don’t hate fireworks, but I don’t love them either. I do not want to buy [way too much money], nor shoot off, our own fireworks. What I do like to do is watch a ‘professional’ firework show — pretty colors, not much noise.
Penney Wilfort
I hate them, they are not to shoot them off here but they do and it’s the big M80’s they shoot the poor dog runs around the house crying he shakes so bad. the police did get some of the guys who also shoots guns in the air I do love watching them on tv.

I love fireworks and I’m more impressed each year with all the new special ones they come out with. The only thing I don’t like about them is the noise from some which are better viewed from afar. Thank you Leslie and Kathi!! 🙂
Jill Broussard
I love to watch fireworks. They are legal here, but it makes me very nervous to watch them being lit. Silly as it may seem, even sparklers make me nervous.
Michele Hayes
I love watching fireworks.
Dianne Bahn
I enjoy fireworks because they are unique and we only see them once or twice a year
Joanne Kocourek
I love watching fireworks from afar, but hate the really loud, heavy artillery. The best ever: Disney Cruise ship fireworks at sea!
Jo Anne Vincenti
love watching fireworks
Ruth Nixon
I love fireworks and safe and sane ones are legal in my town.
