I used to really decorate the house and yard and dress up for the evening. Now, I keep the decorations minimal and then travel to celebrate with my son’s family. It’s great to see my grandchildren trick or treat.

The whole family decorates and, my favorite…baking and decorating Halloween treats while listening to Halloween music! Plus, one of my nephews has a Halloween themed birthday the week of Halloween so we go crazy with Halloween decorations and themes, and even make our own awesome Halloween Pinatas! I don’t do much for Halloween. I live in a seniors only apartment building so there are no kids doing the trick or treat thing, but a lot of residents (me included) put dishes of candy on a shelf just outside each apartment door. Have to fill that dish dozens of times leading up to and including Halloween.

Well, usually we would dress up and go out trick-or-treating <3 Then, we would go out to pick up something to eat and come home to watch Halloween movies!! Now, we'll probably just get some candy and movies to watch 🙂 We hope one year in the future we can FINALLY have a haunted house!!!!
