Review – Made to Love You by Nan Reinhardt
Synopsis
She’s not looking for love, but a handsome veterinarian and a lost puppy have other plans…
Gorgeous and gifted, Annabelle Walker is a force of nature. A talented architect who has brought new designs and concepts to her family’s construction firm, Anna’s happy and doesn’t feel anything’s missing from her life, even as her siblings have all fallen in love this year. And then, she finds an injured puppy on a bike ride.
Veterinarian Sawyer Braxton is lost while driving to his first day at Price Veterinary Clinic. He stops to ask directions of a bicyclist on the side of the road and discovers three things: she’s beautiful, stranded with a flat tire, and holding an injured puppy. Sawyer’s fascinated, and it feels like fate as he offers the intriguing and vibrant woman a ride to the vet clinic.
It’s a meet-cute, and Annabelle’s definitely attracted, but she’s determined that this time, she really will take a break from men. Sawyer’s as stubborn as he is sexy, and he hits on a plan for a date—they’ll both foster the pup while it heals.

Review
I love the town of River’s Edge. Each book by this author brings back characters I have come to know and love. Plus, all of the families are large, so there are multiple books to cover each family member.
Anna had a rough relationship in the past, making her wary of starting any new relationship with anyone. However, she doesn’t count on finding a puppy, and the hunky new vet in town that convinces her to foster the dog while they find a forever home for her. The path to their relationship is not smooth, but they both have some past baggage they are working to overcome.
Sawyer is wise and discovers what he does and doesn’t want from life. And what he doesn’t want is to be a teacher. I love that he wants to help the animals more than anything. That makes him a successful vet. I had to chuckle when he said he knows the pet’s names and not so much the owners. I can relate! When we had dogs, I knew the dog’s names but not necessarily their owners.
Anna and Sawyer’s relationship is rocky at the start as they learn more about each other, but the chemistry is there. How will this play out? Will they get together? You will have to read the book to find out (but I’m sure you can guess how it ends.) There is a unique twist at the end that is very sweet. Read the book to find out.
This is perfect for romance and dog lovers. Trixie, the Papillion, will steal your heart. Plus, for those who love this sleepy Indiana town.
We give it 4 paws up.
