Review – He’s Shirtless…With Kids by Sable Burns

Synopsis
He’s Shirtless…with Kids. OMG!
A fake fiancé. A fireman with abs. Two small negotiators. And one very flustered neighbor.
For fans of Katherine Center, Abby Jimenez, and rom-coms with heart, heat, and a little spiritual swagger.
Alexa Stone moved to Harts Grove to lay low—not to fall for the shirtless firefighter next door. But Noah Townsend has piercing blue eyes, a hero’s heart, and two ridiculously lovable kids who immediately decide Alexa’s Tesla—and Alexa—are the coolest things on the block.
One chaotic day, a fake engagement seems like the perfect idea. Noah gets the small-town support his bar needs. Alexa gains credibility with locals and a distraction from her secret billionaire status.
Totally fake. Absolutely no feelings involved. (Right?)
Except now she’s helping with bedtime, sharing vision boards, and catching feelings faster than a house on fire. And Noah? He’s raising kids, running the club, and trying not to fall for the glamorous image consultant who sees right through him.
He lost his wife and swore off deep feelings. She planned to disappear. Neither expected to find family… or a second chance at love.
As their fake relationship starts looking suspiciously real, Alexa shares her favorite practice: Visualize. Give thanks. Take one bold, inspired step.
It’s not magic. It’s intention. And it’s leading somewhere she never expected—home.
She came to disappear. He showed up shirtless, with kids and emotional depth.
Honestly, she never stood a chance.

Review
I know I wouldn’t object to moving in next door to a hunky fireman! Alexa is in for a surprise with Noah. He is the whole package and exactly what Alexa needs.
This romance has all the feels, humor, quick quips, and an undeniable attraction. Some secrets take some time to be revealed, and both parties need time to adjust to acceptance.
Noah is a Renaissance man. He does so much for the community and his family; one can’t help but admire him. He is definitely a hot commodity with the ladies, and I think I would be lined up as well. Alexa is smart, humble, and struggling to find her own way. And you know, whenever there is a fake engagement, it is going to end up in true love!
I loved the kids in this book, too. They added another dimension to the story, and the time Alexa spends with them is genuine, caring, and helps her realize that family is who you want in your world.
This book is down-to-earth, sexy (in a clean way), and heartwarming. I enjoyed each page, and there is room for future books or spin-offs involving other characters.
We give this book 4 paws up.
