We have a favorite camping spot up on the siletz. it’s in the mountains. You can drop a pot and have crawdads for a meal. You can drop a hook and have trout for a meal. We are talking about real honest to God camping. Tents and sleeping bags and no electronics. At night the stars are in full view in all their glory. Shortly after we moved to Oregon we discovered Moonshine Park. The second year we campted there I was showing my son then 4 the various constellations. When I pointed out the Cassandra Constellation he exclaimed, so excited “Our name is up there!” And so it was.
