Plus I start decorating after Thanksgiving with a tiny ceramic lit tree, a snowflake felt garland, winter scented candles and a basket outside my door with a few ornaments and fake evergreens to make it look festive. I also sing along to holiday music which is continuously on the radio right after Thanksgiving.

Ideally I’d prepare early but in reality I leave everything until the last minute
